Partners in Quality (PIQ)…

The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) established the PIQ program for the purpose of increasing product quality through audit-based quality assurance procedures.

Only those processing plants capable of developing documented quality assurance systems in accordance with rigorous PIQ specifications are granted participation. The USDA Inspection Service provides regular audits of the plant systems for verification.

Keenan Farms is the only pistachio processing plant in the U.S. that is an accredited facility for the USDA Partners in Quality (PIQ) Program.
